Description

11 x 14 oil on canvas of a soft, white downy coated cashmere goat snuggling with a little piglet, next to each other.  Very adorable.  The goat has a different kind of face from a lamb, more pink lips and nose, and blue-green eyes.  There is a lot of impasto, which is built up layers of the oil paint for texture, to enhance the goat’s coat.  They are snuggled in a rural farm scene down in the green grasses.  The background is impressionistic layers of turquoise greens, blues and some purple.  It has a light grayish beige wooden frame, about 2 inches wide and glossy, that compliments the painting.
