Description

6 x 6 oil on block canvas series of 4.  This one is the “hind end view”, as often seen in pastures when in groups and eating grass.  This photo is from a sheep farm in Albion, Pa, owned by Mr. Richard English.  These are black faced sheep.  The fleece is done with soft grays, whites, yellows, and very loosely and impressionistic.  The sky is blue, the grasses are yellow green and his hind end is very fluffy with the signature Suffolk tail.  There is no frame, as this is a 2 inch wide edge all around painted silver.  You just hang it on the wall as is.  You can choose to frame it if you like, but this is commonly done in art.  This should definitely be sold as part of the family of four.
