Description
This is a 16 x 20 oil painting on canvas. It boasts a breathtaking, golden sunrise light hitting the left side of this horizontal landscape and embracing a giant tree and groups of small shrubs. This has a definite rural feel, and soybean fields are seen on the right side. There is a dirt road in the foreground, with blues, greens, purples, cobalt blue and turquoise in this piece. This painting won First Place in a juried art exhibit at Main Street Art Gallery in Girard, PA in 2017 and was featured in the Erie Times News. This is a friend’s side yard from his home in Corry, PA and is typical of the misty morning views you see in this part of Pennsylvania. It has a dark brown frame that is molded and has buffed dark gray in the crevices. It is a beautiful piece and a must for anyone who loves the yellow greens and the feel of the sun in the country.
