Description
This is an acrylic, abstract, loosely impressionistic painting with lots of brush strokes and impasto texture. It is a sunny and shady day at my friend Jim’s property on his farm in Albion, PA, of which I have painted three paintings. There are a line of his apple trees in the background, which he makes his own apple cider from each year, and his tractor road curving to the back. There are wheat and corn stalks, and wild grasses in many yellow greens and shadows in blues. It has a cheery blue Spring sky with soft clouds. This is very pretty on any wall color, as it is natural colors, and is reminiscent of country fields in NW Pennsylvania. It is framed in a very dark brown wooden frame which compliments the work and makes the colors pop.
