Description
This is an 18″ x 24″ oil on canvas board of a brilliant and spiritually uplifting night sky all in shades of blues. There is a city line, water, and a foreground of rocks and land. It is a dance of splendid shapes of misty clouds, with glazes of several colors over the edges of some. This photo does not do this painting justice.
I added “gold leaf”, a metallic paint in effect, to the edges of some clouds, the sun on the water, and in the buildings in the city to show tremendous light and for a touch of whimsy. This is in a gold frame and is just stunning. It is done very loose and painterly and in impressionistic form.
